Human Beans: Cultivating a Zero Trust Mindset in Non-Technical Teams
About

Zero Trust is a strategic approach to security that recognizes the holistic relationship between people, process, organizations, and technology. Although there is a growing body of guidance for Zero Trust, it is primarily technical in nature, which only addresses the technology and process aspects. This session will provide a high level explanation of Zero Trust and why it is important for non-technical teams like HR, Sales, and Customer Service to embrace. Methods of effectively communicating this message to non-technical teams will be discussed, including real-world scenarios like the MGM cyberattack in 2023.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand why non-technical teams should understand Zero Trust
  • Understand how to communicate Zero Trust to their non-technical teams
  • Understand the importance of cultivating a Zero Trust mindset in their technical teams
