Threat actors are actively directing influence campaigns toward communities, exploiting existing divisions within society. This talk delves into this phenomenon within the context of the grey zone, examining the tactics employed by malicious actors in their efforts to manipulate and harm targeted communities. The goal of this presentation is to motivate attendees to delve deeper into the field of social threat intelligence and to consider taking on the responsibility of safeguarding our communities. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of threat modeling, a heightened awareness of the gravity of this threat, and actionable recommendations to combat such activities.
